How It Works
Becoming an Independent Travel Expert is a straightforward process designed to get you up and running quickly, with full support from our team every step of the way.
1. Initial conversation
You’ll start with a call with our recruitment team to learn more about ITE and discuss your experience, goals, and suitability.
2. Follow-up & application
After your call, you’ll have a virtual follow-up with the ITE team. We’ll then send your application documents and trust deeds for completion (including a required wet signature).
3. Submit your application
Once we receive your completed documents, CV, and business plan, your application is reviewed by our Membership council.
4. Approval & onboarding
If successful, you’ll be welcomed into the ITE network and invited to a virtual induction to get you fully set up.
5. Start trading
Following induction, you can begin trading within 48 hours, with access to training and support through our New to Travel programme (where applicable).
Important requirements
To join Independent Travel Experts, you must be UK-based with a valid UK address and UK bank account. Some members may travel frequently or spend time abroad, but maintaining these UK requirements is essential for membership.
