The Right ATOL Solutions for Your Business

If you are looking to create your own tailor-made flight-based packages, you will have access to different solutions to provide ATOL protection dependent on the Membership option:

  • A franchise ATOL available to TTA members, T-ATOL allows you to hold your very own ATOL licence without the need for bonds due to operating a TTA trust account and is a much lower cost alternative to a direct ATOL licence. With this option, we deal with all payments and declarations to the CAA on your behalf, taking another weight off your shoulders. All we ask id that you report your passenger numbers to us at the TTA by way of declaration.
  • The Global Travel Group membership gives you access to our Group ATOL Licence, allowing you to create your own flight-packages whilst still providing your customers with the necessary protection.
  • Independent Travel Experts holds its own ATOL licence, so as a member of ITE you will have the option to use this.

100% Financial Protection

Holidaymakers want to know their investment is in safe hands, and we bet you do too. With the Standalone Safe Seat Plan Guarantee, members of our Travel Trust membership model can offer 100% financial protection to their customers.

Here’s how it works. We set up a Trust Account on your behalf, where all customer monies are held in trust and only used to pay for their holiday. This means that, if you become insolvent, we will make sure your customers’ holidays continue as planned, or that they are fully reimbursed. Either way, we help you give your customers complete peace of mind.


Supplier Failure Cover & Crisis Management

The well-publicised collapse of Monarch Airlines left many customers stranded and out of pocket; but not ours. Thanks to our Supplier Failure Cover, you (and your customers!) can be safe in the knowledge that you are financially protected against approved suppliers if they were to fail. This insurance essentially frees up your cash flow as you can use the customer’s money to pay suppliers from your trust account and take your well-deserved commission right away.

Our Crisis Management team meets to discuss high priority issues that affect the travel industry as soon as the news breaks. It is their job to tell you exactly how the news might impact you and your customers, and also coordinate a response to minimise any impact.
