From 6th–9th November, Ross, Steph, Andy and Claire, along with 24 of our Members, were lucky enough to embark on a fantastic Malta FAM trip, hosted by Visit Malta Trade and KM Malta Airlines. Over four unforgettable days, we immersed ourselves in the island’s rich history, vibrant culture, and outstanding cuisine.
Day 1 – Mdina: A Magical Welcome
After arriving and settling into the hotel, we travelled to the enchanting Silent City of Mdina for a private guided tour. Wandering its narrow, golden-lit streets felt like stepping back in time.
The evening continued with a candlelit dinner at The Medina Restaurant, where medieval charm, warm ambience, and incredible dishes set the tone for the days ahead.
Day 2 – Valletta & The Three Cities: Culture, Views & Adventure
Our second day began in Valletta, exploring iconic landmarks including the breathtaking St. John’s Co-Cathedral and the serene Upper Barrakka Gardens, with sweeping views over the Grand Harbour. Then, we enjoyed a relaxing lunch at Cargo Bar & Dine, right on the waterfront.
The afternoon turned up the fun with a Rolling Geeks self-drive tour – a quirky, entertaining, and surprisingly informative way to explore the Three Cities. With built-in GPS commentary guiding us through historic streets, breathtaking harbour views, and hidden corners, it was the perfect blend of sightseeing and laughter.
We rounded off the day in true Maltese style with a delicious dinner at Oka’s At The Villa, set within a beautifully restored 19th-century palazzo. Surrounded by elegant architecture, warm evening air, and great company, it was the perfect end to an unforgettable day.
Day 3 – Gozo: Scenic Beauty, Local Flavours & a Musical Surprise
On Saturday, we ventured to Gozo to take in the raw beauty of Dwejra Bay, where dramatic cliffs and sea views framed a stunning boat ride. A surprise musical performance by some of our talented Members, joined by a local musician, made the morning even more memorable!
We then stopped at the iconic Basilica Ta’ Pinu, before heading to Victoria (Rabat) and the historic Citadel for breathtaking island views. Lunch at Al-Sale Restaurant in Xagħra offered authentic Gozitan flavours in a charming square.
The day ended with an outstanding dinner at The Chophouse, paired with incredible night-time views across the water to illuminated Valletta.
Day 4 – Farewell, Malta
After soaking up a final few hours of sunshine and Maltese warmth, it was time to wave goodbye to an unforgettable adventure, leaving inspired by an island rich in history, culture, and stunning landscapes.
A Journey to Remember
A huge thank you to Visit Malta and KM Malta Airlines for a truly unforgettable experience. Our Members returned not only inspired by Malta’s beauty and wanting to go back themselves, but also equipped with new destination knowledge that will help them showcase Malta’s magic to their customers.
