I had just been made redundant from an airline and still wanted to work in travel. I did some research on starting my own business, and ITE came up as the right fit. So, I reached out, and after some productive conversations, we got the ball rolling. I put together a 3-month business plan and then took it from there. It’s crazy to think that was back in 2017, and now I’m already 8 years into my business.
I like that it’s my business, and I can tailor it to how I want it. But I also have the support of the Travel Network Group, with suppliers, marketing, and brand support on a larger scale, which gives me everything I need to help my small business grow. The team at ITE is super helpful, and we are all close-knit—more like a family—because we all want each other to succeed. Since I joined, we have seen lots of improvements, such as new CRM and booking tools, as well as a strong new BDM team. All of these elements are reviewed regularly, and we are asked for our feedback to make sure it’s working for us.

At this point, I’ve used most elements of my membership. Marketing has been great, and they’ve designed everything from business cards, pull-up signs, my shop’s signage, magazine drops, my logos, leaflets, and now also my digital in-store display.
I’ve also used other parts of TTNG on a regular basis, such as The Cruise Club and Dynamic.
Always helpful, and someone will pick up the phone or reply to an email whenever I have a question. The turnaround is always quick from Marketing, and after a quick conversation, they understand what I need and bring my ideas to life
