Drovers Travel was established 15 years ago and is now trading from a small shop in our home town of Bishop’s Castle. I have worked on my own in the agency since establishing it and continue to do.
Although, I’ve had to adapt my working hours due to world events and personal circumstances, turnover has increased since COVID and continues to grow.
The Global Travel Group gave us the benefit of being able to use the Group ATOL scheme, which other consortium did not provide (this is a massive competitive advantage) as well as the back office support and commercial terms.
We also have our own social media group for members and the full support of The Travel Network Group.
The Marketing Team’s post code leaflet drop opportunity has helped to increase awareness of our brand and proposition and resulted in notable bookings.
The customer service we have experienced is excellent: issues, JIRA tickets and emails are responded to quickly and efficiently.
Whilst your business is your own it is always reassuring to know that you have the support of a head office team to fall back on if you need it.
