At The Travel Network Group, we’re excited to announce a new direction for our Summer ‘Where Next’ marketing campaign. For the first time, we’ve brought our travel inspiration directly to our Members’ local supermarkets, making it easier than ever for shoppers to dream about their next getaway as they do their weekly shop.
Personalised Magazines to Inspire Customers
Our Members have received personalised magazines with their logo and call to action designed to capture their customers’ attention, filled with a wide range of holiday and travel ideas centered around our ‘Where Next’ theme.
A Successful Rollout
We’re thrilled to report that our new Supermarket Magazine Distribution Initiative is off to a great start. We’ve distributed over 35,000 magazines directly to supermarkets, alongside the 19,000 copies delivered to our Members’ businesses for them to distribute in their stores, or the local community.
Inspiring Travel Ideas
Inside these magazines, customers will find travel offers designed to inspire. Whether they’re dreaming of ‘Discovering the Northern Lights,’ exploring ‘Beautiful Gambia,’ relaxing in Antigua or enjoying ‘Greek Island Getaways,’ there’s something for everyone. This initiative aims to encourage customers to contact their local TTNG Member for last-minute summer bookings, Autumn and Winter 2024 trips and even those looking ahead to holidays in 2025 and 2026.
Delivering on Our Promises
Our Group Marketing Director, Ross East, expressed our excitement about this initiative: “We promised our members last December at our Conference in Munich that we could significantly enrich their offering with our Supermarket Magazine Distribution Initiative. Now we are delivering on that vital support to our members as they showcase the amazing array of ‘Where Next’ travel opportunities to attract new customers.”
Looking Ahead
The success of this initial rollout has us looking forward to what’s next. Ross added, “The Initiative has started very well, and we will be following up the ‘Where Next’ magazine campaign with a second inspirational supermarket magazine, ‘The Cruise Collection,’ in September.”
